It's been quite a long time since this aired, but i thought it be fun to resurrect this video.
We've had a fantastic and fun run since back in the day. Yet another reminder why i love this group!

Hi Folks,

As many of you know, I rarely post anything pertaining to blogs or news or any assorted BS, but as you also know, this site, you all, and this community all mean a great deal to me. I certainly don't stay up nights worrying about it or bust my brain in code to make money or profit from our little corner of the web, but I do often think about the goals I set forth from day one.

Don't worry; despite the opening, I promise I'll make it quick...

1) I wanted to provide a safe haven for mature gamers with no BS and no extraordinary drama, even when we have our disagreements; just a bunch of people playing games together, sharing our love of gaming and enjoying each others' company. One of the ways we could be doing this in a more meaningful way is by doing a Podcast.

2) Another of my goals was to do the best I could to offer services to foster adult gamers and to have people feel a part of a great group where we wouldn't have to put our whole lives aside just to be part of something great. One of the ways we could continue to make each other part of our family is by doing a Podcast.

3) The real last part of this, REALLY, is to make a difference in the gaming world; to offer up ideas, to the community at large, for games WE, as adults, want to play. While this may be the last part, it is also the most difficult; a seriously tough nut to crack. One of the ways we could get our opinions out there for people is by doing a Podcast.

Has anyone out there in BPC land figured out what the point of this post is? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? If you guessed that I really, REALLY want to get a regular BPC Podcast going, you're right!

I'm all about the natural progression of this site, come hell or high water and I think we have the type of group, now, where we could pull something fantastic off IF enough of you were willing to give your time and energy to the project. Please understand, I never count on the contributions we get (either financially or via blogs or podcasting or anything we do), and it isn't the reason I want to kickstart this project. My goals remain the same as they were when I started this site and I really think reviving a regular BPC podcast would be a great way to help us progress. We've done it, before, and it was fun, professional, exciting and really was a great way for us to build our community spirit and get our ideas out there on the web.

So, really, this is a reach out to any of you willing to spend some time helping to build a fantastic sounding BPC podcast (personalities and composing a professional sounding cast). I'm only one guy and I could use those with some ability to help put together our future in podcasting.

Howdy folks, as you can see we have a new forums site, which includes a ton of new features. Yet, before you get to overwhelmed, be sure to ask an Admin if you need help that's not covered in the help section here. Try to keep up as things around here will surely change on a regular basis!  B)
