I didn't want to point out or reveal anything as of yet, due to planning and design of pages, but to start the hype engine, next month will be our SoS (Save our Server) month with many ways to win goodies and prizes all in the name of replacing our server box.

As a grand prize, we will be giving away a system. Yes, that's right a PC capable of playing all your PC wishes. All those details are to come, but we NEED to raise the cash and our goal is 2k, which covers the cost of everything. I wanted to get the ball rolling as we move on with the goals we have set, I want you all to feel proud about your participation in our small social network and happy to be a contributing member to BPC. This is only going to work out if we can move participation, and increase our donation income, so please get out there! We've raised money for charities, some $5,000 and counting (and the next wave for our regular charity is coming up soon) and in that spirit, let's continue to help our communities, by keeping our foundation strong.

If you haven't noticed already we've created a storefront system and we are in the planning stages of building designs for tees and other assorted goodies that are gamer oriented. Most of the stuff will be just that, goodies you can buy that are just for the gamer heart in you and not JUST BPC oriented. We don't wanna sell crap to just promote the site, we want cool and interesting stuff you'd want to have.

All these things and more are coming, in time. Some of you know i'm working late into the night @ EA, so please know that even though things are moving forward slower than usual, they are moving forward!

I tried to buy the elusive Widget, but I couldn't select my payment method.

Cool idea for the storefront as a fundraiser.  Any idea of what the timeline is for reaching your goal?  Will we have a cool little progress meter?

The Store front is a cool idea. When I went to click it I realized that the email thing is gone.

It feels like everything is always in development, i'm not sure how filled a progress bar would ever get!

Yeah for the moment i took it out since managing forum emails is bad enough, let alone a full time email service. Plus the software is in early beta.

I agree that the site is a continuously growing and evolving thingamabob, I meant more for the 2k goal

Ha, well at this point, once i get back to working my normal shift i'll have more time to run these things. We've talked about it in meetings and decided to do mini events, work on the advertising stuff and the store to hopefully raise some cash.
