We have great start everyone, and I want to thank those that have stepped up to host some events.  But, we need more people to participate.  We have to go through the night and right now we don't have too many people doing that.

I'd like to see everyone who can join us do so.  Portal 2 is a new game, can we get some of you who just purchased it to do some over night co-op, or those of you who play minecraft do some streaming for that?

This is for a good cause and we need as many people as possible to join in.  Please take a moment and review the games list and times and feel free to add your favorite game to the mix.

This is very personal to me and I'm asking everyone who can to join in.

I added some Portal to the beginning and end of the event.

I think the main problem is that we've got such a clunky schedule scheme that scares a lot of people off, or who don't want to try and figure out what is being played when.  A nice iCal calender would make participation so much better, I think.

As the events continue to roll in, they will be posted to our calendar, which is fed directly to iCal. There is no RSVP system in place yet, but you can easily look at our fed calendar and see the events.

In case you're at odds with it, you can subscribe to our ical feed by pasting this:

feed2ical.appspot.com/convert?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbeautifulpeoplesclub.org%2Fboards%2Findex.php%3F%2Frss%2Fcalendar%2F1-community-calendar%2F

into your subscribed calendars on either your iphone or via any ical supported app, including google calendars.

I agree with 8 that it's sort of hard to tell what is where, and at this point I can't remember to what I've committed, I'll have to go back through each to figure it out (but of course the one I know for sure is RDR!)  Do all the events need to be of a certain length, they all seem to be two hours.  I wouldn't mind hosting some brief PSN title timeslots (an hour of Tetris, an hour of Hoard, an hour of pinball, etc) for those ADD gamers out there.  If two hours works better, I'll try to add a few events.

I will set up each event the calendar and we'll use the Poll "RSVP" system we use for the regular events.

There is absolutely no limit on time, even 30 minutes is fine (or less if you're super ADD). I have been waiting on *organizing* the events better, but i will get on that tonight and have a nice breakdown of who's playing/hosting what, when.

To be honest I haven't signed up for much, mostly because I just plan on following the crowd through the night and am not picky in the least as to what we play.

Does these forums have an agenda view calendar?  Cause that would make things easier to see, esp. with some colour coding or what not.  A pasteable iCal address is great, but pasting the address into the appropriate device or program is just one extra step preventing peeps from participating.

Ditto on that Stash.
My current plan is to have my kids play the first few hours whilst I spam twitter and facebook with constant requests to join us and give us your money!!! LOL

Promoting the event is really going to be my main priority, at least for the first 5 or 6 hours.

I will probably be the ultimate social butterfly at the actual event and simply flit between games. Using Teamspeak I'm going to be able to keep in constant contact with everyone anyway, even when I'm not playing so I'll be around regardless.

I havent signed up for anything in particular, other than hosting a race. I plan to add more races to the agenda also.

Waiting for someone to host UC2 (winks at stash cause you're so good at it) so I can sign up for that.

It's not on the list, but I know two guys that would play the new Nascar game with me, so I may throw that in for an hour or two also. B)

Ok, done. :)

I'll also be on Teamspeak for the duration of the event, as well as trying to participate in any chat room areas I'm able to in between games, assuming we're still doing that.

I'm playing the full 24 hours but don't know what's playing when and don't care. Lol I'll log in see what everyone else is playing and join them. I'm hoping to stream but waiting to see if I get a new pc for my birthday before deciding how I'm streaming. I'm also trying to rope in as many gamers as possible too. :-)

I would love to see some non-admins/moderators hosting some games.

Here are some of the games everyone mentioned they wanted to play, but I only a few of these listed... I know several you like to AC:Brotherhood - that would a good late night game to pay.  Zen Pinball at 2 in the morning?   I don't want to come off as being pushy, but.....  We want this to be a huge deal to everyone - so please help us out.
