It's come to my attention that some folks are worried about the lack of participation or *slowness* of the site. Based on a quite few years of experience in the social management biz, the summer months are always slower then the fall/winter months. This is also reflected in the hit counters i keep. We go from half a million or so hits to maybe 125k over the course of the summer.
During these months, i spend a good deal of time revamping, fixing and adding new features. That along with planning the next spur of gamer influx, we are gearing up for the fall rush. But, however, if you are concerned with turn outs or participation, please feel free to promote events and participation. No social site anywhere thrives off of silence and solitude, so be proactive!
I'm more than willing to use a tier membership system to pull in more participation, pass out titles and responsibilities to those willing to take the lead on events and planning. All my dev goals are pretty much on track, from site redesign to server transitioning, to planning new challenges and events systems, all the way through to promotion. So as we move forward, please bare in mind these things are going on in the background, and it's only been a few months since we've made a huge transition to this system and at a pretty decent outlay of cash too.

And out of the slow summer months, it doesn't get much slower than Aug-Sept, where everyone is getting their vacation in before time runs out.

Ha! I've done other sites like this in the past. But nothing as organized or as well put together and usually just for one game or concept (philosophy, religion, or politics). All my freelance work over the past 2 years has been administering professional support sites, which are all about similar in user scope, but typically have less of a social aspect to them. Right now i'm falling pretty far behind in what i wanted to get accomplished by the end of the month due to major overtime at the night job, weekends of parties and freelance work. Right now i'm running on about 2.5 hours of sleep.

Damn man, you need to take a break and get some sleep. I think most everyone would agree that what you've created here is about fun, not deadlines. I'm sure we'll all be here tomorrow, so go take a nap.... I comand it.

I actually feel bad that i haven't reach any of my goals. For some reason i thought i was a machine. But, the good news is the development is back underway with some help from some friends. So let's hope i can get back on track, i have so many ideas to help foster your gaming experience and even some great tools to help you keep track of events and games. It just takes awhile to get everything implemented.
