I do a majority of my gaming on PC and it's pretty easy to track what people are playing through steam since we have our BPC group on there. If anybody see's me on there feel free to give me a message if you want to game together or anything.
Do you have a link to it? Somebody posted a link Sunday in TS, but I didn't get it. Also, did you want me to add your Steam ID to the list? I have you listed as a PC gamer, but that's all I have.
Oh, nice. That's better than what I was thinking.
We just need to figure out how to manage the permissions, probably. And Something like alphabetical ordering/sorting might be useful to start with for the first column so it doesn't get too chaotic when it grows.
Yeah, I made this post near the beginning of our TeamSpeak conference, before the steam group came up and you guys invited me to it and as friends.
There is still a little ambiguity there, though, since Steam itself is multi-platform although still only a portion of the multiplayer games are united across platforms like the community, right?
Sorting is easy. I can sort by any category you want. Since this is something that Munki is planning to address, I'm not going to worry about fixing any permissions. I could give everybody access, but that would literally give everybody access. I don't really have any way of limiting permissions to BPC members unless I have them in my contacts.
As for the ambiguity, I was contemplating changing the Windows / Mac categories to Steam ID. But while a lot of PC games played here probably run through Steam, not all do. Not only do you have store-bought versions of many games, but you also have MMOs and the like.
I have ideas on how to better fix this issue, as we discussed. Stay tuned!
This is just a temporary fix. I'll happily keep it up-to-date as best I can until it becomes redundant.
